Kessels then went on to talk about some of the weird collections and books he has made in his years as a designer. He was asked to do an exhibit on photography today, and he took the brief literally and printed out every photo uploaded to flickr for a 24 hour period and just dumped them into the gallery. People were able to walk through and explore a whole range of photography from family pictures, to cartoons, to stock images, to professional photography at their own leisure, and discovery. He also seemed to have a strange ability to be able to find the weirdest people and collections of things on the planet and made books out of them. I have included images of a few of my favourites; a blog created where the owner of a rabbit balanced a different object on the rabbit's head every day, or a lady who had her photo taken every year at the shooting ranger of her local carnival. Kessels gathered these together, organised them and made a publication out of them.
