I also tried to photograph the people of Castle Market, as on my first trip to draw I found them really interesting. The age of the people there is a lot higher than that you would find in the centre of town, and I think this is because people who are old and retired have more time to shop for their food, whereas the younger person would just go to a supermarket. I also think that older people prefer the idea of fresh food from a butchers or greengrocers and therefore use the market for that purpose.
