I tried combing the 'I' inside the left upright of the 'U' in this series, and thought it worked well, although you lost the order of the initials. I think I am beginning to prefer more of a symbol based logo, as I am a designer and feel that my mind works on images and shapes as opposed to text. I like the logo in the top right and like the use of the two colours, as well as thinking that ones at the bottom with the break in the left upright also works really well.
